GATE 2019: Indian Institute of Technology (Madras) has introduced a new subject in the syllabus of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for the year 2019. Recently IIT Madras released the official datesheet regarding GATE 2019. Whereas the online application process for the GATE 2019 will start from 1st September 2018 on the official website i.e gateiitm.ac.in.
Last year it was IIT Guwahati that conducted the GATE Exam and this year IIT Madras is all set to hold the GATE 2018. Although recently IIT Madras has announced to add a new subject to the syllabus of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for the year 2019.

GATE 2019: A New Subject ST Introduced in the Syllabus

As mentioned on the official website of IITM GATE 2019, candidates have to appear for an additional subject in the exam. IIT Madras has added a new paper called Statistics in the syllabus of GATE Exam 2019. Indian Institute of Technology Madras has announced that from 2019 onwards GATE aspirants have to appear for 1 more paper as per the new syllabus. Although the online registration process for GATE will start from 1st September 2019.
Here’s what all the new paper in the GATE 2019 will consist- Linear Algebra, Calculus, Inference, Probability, Design of Experiments, regression analysis, stochastic processes and multivariate analysis. Those who are appearing for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for the year 2019 has to prepare for all the above-mentioned topics as well.

Online Application Date &  Process for the GATE 2019

As per the official notification released by the IIT Madras, the online application process for the GATE Exam 2019 will begin from 1st September 2019. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) aspirants has to follow some simple steps to apply for the same. Firstly one has to open the official website of GATE 2019 i.e iitmgate.ac.in and then click the online registration button. After registering, one can fill up the admission form and submit the same for GATE 2019.
Although the GATE Exam for the year 2019 has been scheduled for 2, 3, 9 and 10th February 2019. Whereas the online application process for GATE 2019 will close on 21st September 2018 as per the official notification. Candidates must keep a tap on the official website of GATE for further updates for the year 2019.
